Janine Park

Janine is a registered band 6 nurse with 15 years experience in care. She is also the CEO of Park Home Care LTD, which runs two solo children’s homes in Liverpool. The first home, Ellie Bee House is a 2:1 Provision, and the second Leyton Bee House is also a 2:1 Provision. A mum of four, Janine’s aim is to open a home in each of her children’s names. Alongside that, she co-founded Lilac Children’s consultancy to help other new provider’s through the same process she has been through on her own provisions.

Her knowledge of property and the planning process sits alongside Janine’s experience in children’s care and Ofsted. Together they have streamlined the process for Park Home Care, and Ellie is now sourcing the company’s third home. Alongside building the family property business, she co-founded Lilac Children’s consultancy with Janine to help other’s through the planning process to begin Ofsted registration.

Why do you want to help?

We've been where you are. Opening a children's home is overwhelming: it's a big cost, it's a risk, and nothing is guaranteed. We've done it ourselves from scratch, finding the property, getting planning and taking a home all the way through to Ofsted registration.

Along the way, we streamlined the process so others don't have to struggle through it alone. The more people we help, the stronger our network becomes, the better the homes are, and the more children have somewhere safe to live. We're not here to compete. We're here to build connections and to do some good.
