What happens next
1. Your welcome call
Starting from scratch means a few extra steps first. You'll need a company name, branding and a clear sense of why you're doing this, so that you come across as professional when you approach councils, agents and landlords. We'll also talk about researching demand in your chosen area, because that will shape what kind of home you open.
2. Finding the right property
Start by speaking to your local council. Ask where they need homes, what specification they're looking for and what the demand is. With that information, you can begin your search through estate agents and landlords. Once we know your criteria, we'll also reach out to our own network of landlords to see who has a C2 property ready, or who is willing to go through the C2 process.
Please note: The client is responsible for finding and carrying out due diligence on the property. We can reach out to our network to help you with your search and introduce landlord’s based off your criteria.
3. Once your property is secured
This is where we come in. Planning will ask for three documents for a children's home, and we prepare them for you:
Statement of Purpose
Operational Management Plan
Location Risk Assessment
Please note: We are not planning consultants. Your architect will support you with the property side of your application.
When your property is C2 approved
Congratulations, this is a real milestone! At this point, further payment is needed to continue the paperwork.
4. Your registration documents, policies and recruitment
We complete the rest of your registration documents, along with your 12 core policies and 10 recruitment documents, so you're ready to build the team who will run your home.
5. Your Ofsted application
We guide you through submitting your application and prepare you for Ofsted's interviews and registration visit.

We can not guarantee planning will pass on your property. There are many factors to consider, but we CAN put a strong case forward with all their question’s answered.
Please speak to your local authority on demand and area, and your architect.
